Presents!

Don't you wish you were as lucky as my kid? Every single one of those presents under our tree was for my child. Grandma completely spoiled her rotten. She got these lovely princess lego's. A couple of books, flash cards, a ton of clothes, a doodle monster, radio, piano recorder, and a remote control car!

Christmas Eve

Mmmmm, I love the holidays and the new and nifty creations I can bring to the table. I made this lovely berry confection. It included berry sorbet, blueberries, pears poached in a white wine spice, dark chocolate, and fresh cherries. I also made spiral cut ham, au gratin potatoes, orange cranberry sauce, green beans, basil garlic asparagus, and mozzerella bruschetta. The meal was tasty goodness (not to brag) and for once I didn't make an excessive amount of food. If you have ever had dinner with me, you probably know that when I cook, I make enough to feed the troops!

You can admit it, you're glad you don't have to deal with this mess. After only 3 or 4 hours of cooking this was the damage I did. Imagine that if this was just a few hours on Christmas eve how much damage I did on all day for Thanksgiving!

Santa!

Abby has both a Jewish mommy and a Daddy who believes in Santa. We went to see Santa last week and finally got ahold of him (after only 3 attempts). Check out my cutie pie waiting in line.....

Taco Night!

Taco night could possibly be my favorite night of all. I think when Abby has as much fun as she did tonight she'll soon think of taco night as her favorite. I think more of the food ended up in her lap though! Good thing I had the bath all warm and ready! Hope you enjoy taco night as much as we did!

Nakey Abby!

How much do you want to bet that Abby hates me when she is 16 for posting this on the internet? Hehehe, to my future Abby, I love you and this was just too cute for eveyone to miss!

Black and White's

Abby and I were rolling around playing on the floor and my dad just happened to catch us from above!
I love this photo but I would love it even more minus the pacifer!
These are my favorite photos in both color and black and white. I love the color one the best but I would love to hear your opinion!

Thanksgiving

From green to red: Toomas (my dad), Judy (my dad's girlfriend, David (my brother), Becky (my step-mother in law), me and Abby!
Grandma Ellen and Abby enjoyed sprite. If she wasn't hyperactive before you know she was after this!
Abby loves to cuddle with me, so I snagged her for a quick snuggle photo before dinner. I love that we are the closest pair ever! Overall we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We ate a ton of turkey, super tasty stuffing, and other amazing treats. Jamie and I worked out a recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Apple Pie. Which might sound gross to you but for some reason works amazingly well. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!
I dropped Abby off to her Grandma Ellen's so I could cook without worrying what Abby was up to. She came back in an outfit change! Both were the cutest outfits and I am glad we got to enjoy them!

Ok Go!

Jamie and I went to see Ok Go back in November! I finally got a chance to get the photos of me with the band up! Check out how cute they look hanging out at 11pm!

I love how hot the guys look despite how tired they must be. They seriously rocked the show. I mean they were jumping all over the place and at once point ran into the audience to do a few songs accoustic on a box.

It's been a crazy year!

It's been a crazy year for the munchkin and me. Hopefully we'll keep you updated with photos and news and everyone will forgive me for taking so long. Here's a quick rundown of whats been going on.
As of July, Chris and I made the decision to seperate and bring a close to our marriage. We hope to work together to be the best parents for Abby we can possibly be! Neither of us will ever deny our undying love for our little girl and plan on trying to be there to support her no matter what.
Abby celebrated her first birthday in style as a Pirate on Oct. 28 at her birthday bash. There were a ton of guests and people to catch up with. I hardly had a moment to play with my kiddo! She had so much fun although present time got to be a little long. Each new present had to be played with and the still wrapped presents to be ignored. It took forever to convince the munchkin to open them (its taking me even longer still to get Thank You cards out). She got 3 cars for her birthday, a cozy coup from Mommy, an electric ATV from Grandma Ellen, and a Whinnie the Pooh electric car from Grandpa Joe. As if she weren't spoiled enough Grandma Nancy got her a play kitchen.
On Halloween, her actual birthday we went Trick or Treating. After a couple of times of trying to drag the stoller up stairs we gave up and took turns carrying her to each house. At the houses she got the idea of knocking; unfortunately her little body couldn't knock loud enough for anyone to actually hear so after she knocked we snuck in a knock to let them know we were there. It was hilarious watching people try to put to logic giving her extra candy because she was younger. They'd be like, "she's so young, she can have two pieces of chocolate" or "what candy do you think she would like?" It was hilarious because anyone who has kids knows I wouldn't be insane enough to give my kid a majority of that candy. Overall she had a wonderful birthday!
