We went to pick cherry's but they were all picked, so we picked peaches and pluots (plums crossed with apricots) instead. So yummy.

Abby Loves Dylan!!!! - March 5, 2009
Abby was feeling a little tired going into Dylan's 3rd Birthday party, it had been a long day.
But once the bubbles came out she was on the prowl!

Mommy Goes to the State Capital
Students from all over California were asked speak on the behalf of all students who receive Cal Grant's at the State Capital in Sacramento. We mostly spoke with aids but a few senators were gracious enough to listen to our stories. It was an amazing experience and something I hope to repeat next year, in better shoes!
Valentines Day-Snow
Mt. Diablo had snow on it for Valentine's Day. We drove up expecting it to be busy but not expecting quite as many people as ended up being there. It was PACKED. They had the top blocked off and for at least a mile we were mostly sitting in stopped traffic while people at Juniper Campgrounds turned around or parked. Luckily when we got to the turn-around point there was a parking spot for us and we got to go play in the snow!
Abby was a little surprised by how cold the snow was, she's a California girl through and through. She lost her gloves, so she had to deal with the cold, red hands!
But that didn't stop her from having a snowball fight!
